Like many of us, my career in the HVAC industry began mostly because I needed a job. I was a recent college graduate with a music performance degree, and after teaching for one year as an elementary school music teacher, I knew I wasn’t in the right place. An opportunity to go to work in my father-in-law’s small HVAC business came about, and I signed on to do telemarketing to build their newly established maintenance program. Long story short, in the four years I was there, this part-time job evolved into learning every business aspect of running a service company, from sales and marketing to logistics, purchasing, and finance.

My connections made while in that role were priceless. I was hired by a major HVAC manufacturer as an inside salesperson, trained in their industry-best program, and was promoted to Territory Manager, where I began working with Jason. I earned my MBA during this time and later moved to a competing manufacturer where I have been able to develop my career further than I had ever imagined.

During my time working in sales and distribution, I have met and worked closely with hundreds of small business owners. I’ve seen them flourish and I’ve seen them fail. The experience I’ve gained working with these contractors is priceless. I’m honored to be working with Jason and HVAC Coach Pro, and I’m so grateful to the contractors who have put their faith in us to help them grow, thrive, and build lasting legacies within their businesses.
